So, we are in Little Rock, Arkansas to see my brother test for his fourth degree black belt and compete in the world championship.

There was a lot of drama getting here. First of all, when we landed in Memphis we couldn't find the bag that had Josh's weapons in it. Turns out that they never made it on the plane. We couldn't wait there to figure it out because Josh had to get to Little Rock to do a fitness test. You can't do the rank testing without a fitness test. We got there 20 minutes late, but he ended up making it in on time.

We spent the rest of the day trying to get the weapons here, tracking them down and stuff. They were supposed to get here last night, but never showed. For his testing today he had to use someone else's weapon. During the board break portion, he kept messing one board up and finally got it on the third attempt. He doesn't find out if he passed for 2 months.

After that we called the airport and they said that the bag was in the Little Rock airport, about to get in a truck. My dad was like "HOW DO WE GET IT OFF THE TRUCK" and the person was like "you have to go to the airport." So we drove to the airport and finally got the bag.

We got back in time for Josh to compete for the world championship...and...

MY BROTHER IS THE WORLD CHAMPION IN WEAPONS

I am so proud of him. This was his first time competing in the top ten, and he beat all of those guys. A lot of them that were there have won TONS of times and my brother goes in as a nobody and kicks their asses. Awesome.

So in the past little while I have read Snuff because I love me some Chuck Palahniuk. Then I read Flowers for Algernon because ozette said it was good. And it made me want to die because it was so sad. I really liked it though. Now I am reading Running With Scissors because longgrift was like "HEY DID YOU HEAR THE SONG TEGAN DID FOR THE GUY WHO DID RUNNING WITH SCISSORS???" and I was like "What is that." So now I am reading it and I like it a lot. I might get A Wolf at the Table next.

BUT AFTER THAT, WHAT SHOULD I READ??? I need some suggestions. So maybe tell me some of your favorite books and stuff? I tend not to like fantasy though...so yea.

APPEARANCE TIME LINE

9th grade

It was long and I hated everything about it. I never did anything with it because I just didn't care. Soooo...

CHOP CHOP. I showed him a picture of Willow from season 4 of Buffy. First time I was EVER happy with my hair.

In the summer, I got bored and wanted to do something weird.

Blue hair. I loved it so much.

It faded. I didn't cut it. It grew.

10th grade

Blue hair is against my school dress code, so this is what happened.

Then, I decided to look like a boy.

As the red faded, the orange came out. Weird.

11th Grade

RED THAT LOOKS SO BAD BUT I LOVED AT THE TIME.

After this hair, I realized my love for Veronica Mars. As I had taken a picture of Willow in and gotten that hair, I took a picture of VM in and got her hair.

I went totally blonde. Totally.

I got bangs that I loved sosososo much.

I decided at this point to grow my hair out.

Ok. I told you guys that I'm learning to knit, so I thought I'd show you WHAT I'm knitting.
I'm knitting a laptop case. It's probably not the easiest thing to start with, but I thought it'd be fun.

This is the book's picture of the finished case.
Instead of the orangepink and black and white, I'm using green and cream.

What I have so far. Not much, but oh well. It takes me a long time because I'm not very good yet.
I'm expecting some holes and stuff at the end because it's my first thing. :D
